I come from a mixed background: Egyptian and British..Belly
dancing was part of my daily life growing up in Cairo, whether from TV, birthday parties, Hen nights, school dances, watching
my mum shake it while cooking or even just dancing in front of the mirror...it is one way I communicate my feelings:
I dance when sad, when melancholic, when happy or festive..we just dance!! Dance the pain away..that is my motto.
I am a Psychiatrist and I work in the NHS as a Psychotherapist. I have run belly dancing groups both in the NHS and privately.
As a Mental Health worker with great passion about belly dancing, I discovered how I can use this tool and skill to heal.
It is a great feeling at the end of every group when the ladies say they were glad to have made it to the group despite their
low mood as they felt so much better afterwards.
I have been teaching belly dancing for more than ten years now.
I have taught it in Egypt, Italy and the UK.
The Class:
Focuses on Egyptian Belly dancing
techniques, works on posture of a belly dancer and maximising the relaxing and exercising effects of this dance on different
parts of the body. It enables you to sensually be in touch with your feminine body. Classes run on Thursday evenings
and Saturday afternoons. A class is starting on Thursday, November 19th at 7:30 pm till 9:00 pm. The charge is £15/
class or £50/ month (4 classes). I provide the belly dancing accessories, beltsand even costumes. You can
make copies of the dancing playlist. Good opportunity to socialise and also arrange for outings around the belly dancing.

Line. To Book and discuss the class please call me: 07872630472, or email me: dr.smoore@yahoo.co.uk
